Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Integration / Full Stack Developer to support the launch of a Covered California Exchange health plan. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and delivering end-to-end integrations across highly connected healthcare platforms, ensuring accurate enrollment processing and seamless data exchange.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Covered California Exchange implementations, deep knowledge of FACETS, and strong expertise in EDI 834 transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support system integrations for the Covered California Exchange plan launch
  • Configure and enhance functionality within FACETS to support enrollment and eligibility workflows
  • Develop, validate, and troubleshoot EDI 834 (Enrollment/Disenrollment) transactions
  • Ensure accurate member data flow between exchange platforms, core administration systems, and downstream applications
  • Partner with business analysts, QA, and operations teams to clarify requirements and support test execution
  • Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
  • Support end-to-end integration testing and stabilization efforts in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Maintain documentation for integration design, data mapping, and configuration changes

Required Experience:

  • Direct experience supporting a Covered California Exchange implementation or plan launch
  • Strong hands-on experience with FACETS configuration and integration
  • Proven experience working with EDI 834 enrollment transactions (including mapping, validation, and reconciliation)
  • Experience supporting end-to-end healthcare enrollment workflows
  • Ability to work in parallel with requirements gathering, testing cycles, and defect resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare payer systems and Exchange integrations
  • Knowledge of CMS guidelines and ACA enrollment processes
  • Full stack development experience (APIs, middleware, data integration)
  • Experience working in Agile or rapid-release environments

Salary/Rate: $55-$70/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
