Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CRM Developer to lead the development of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) portal extension built on an existing Power Pages environment integrated with Dynamics 365 CRM (“Compass”).

This initiative will create a fully external-facing portal that manages the complete lifecycle of leased asset returns, from return initiation through logistics coordination, remarketing, inspection, and billing closure. The solution will integrate tightly with Dynamics 365 and Data verse, while internal teams continue operating exclusively within the CRM environment.

Will serve to three external user groups — customers, freight partners, and remarketers/buyers — providing a centralized platform for managing asset returns, coordinating freight logistics, and enabling third-party remarketers to bid on returned assets.

This role requires strong experience with Power Pages development, Dynamics 365 integration, Data verse architecture, and Power Automate workflow automation, along with front-end development using Liquid templates, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Project Objectives:

The RMA portal extension will modernize and centralize the asset return process by:

  • Creating a secure external portal for managing asset returns and logistics coordination
  • Consolidating multiple intake channels into a single portal-driven workflow
  • Enabling customers to initiate return requests via secure expiring access links
  • Allowing freight partners to coordinate logistics and asset pickup
  • Enabling remarketers and buyers to bid on returned assets and submit asset condition audits
  • Supporting third-party freight outsourcing with referral fee capture
  • Automating billing termination notifications once assets are received by remarketers
  • Providing SLA tracking and operational dashboards within Dynamics 365
  • Feeding remarketing data back into the business to support pricing and asset performance analytics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power Pages portal extensions integrated with Dynamics 365 CRM and Data verse
  • Build portal functionality using Liquid templates, web templates, forms, and lists
  • Develop front-end functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Configure Data verse entities, relationships, and security models for external users
  • Implement Power Automate workflows to orchestrate RMA lifecycle processes
  • Integrate portal actions with existing Dynamics Business Process Flows (BPF) and approval workflows
  • Build functionality supporting secure token-based customer access via expiring links
  • Enable remarketer bidding workflows and asset audit submissions through the portal
  • Support logistics workflows enabling third-party freight partner coordination
  • Implement integrations and automation for billing termination notifications
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders working exclusively within Dynamics 365 Compass
  • Support testing, deployment, and optimization of the portal solution

External Portal Users:

Customers:

  • Initiate asset return requests
  • Access the portal via secure expiring links

Freight Partners:

  • Manage freight coordination and pickup logistics
  • Authenticate through portal login

Remarketers / Buyers:

  • Submit bids on returned assets
  • Perform asset receipt confirmations and audits
  • Access through portal authentication

Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Power Platform development
  • Power Pages (Power Apps Portals)
  • Dynamics 365 CRM integration
  • Data verse data architecture
  • Power Automate workflow development
  • Liquid templating
  • JavaScript
  • HTML / CSS
  • External user authentication and security design
  • Portal data integration with CRM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building external customer portals using Power Pages
  • Dynamics Business Process Flow (BPF) configuration
  • Experience with asset lifecycle management or RMA workflows
  • Experience integrating third-party partner portals
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows

Salary/Rate: $30-$35/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
